- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to existing and prospective customers
- Confer with customers and engineers to assess technical needs and determine system requirements
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
- Plan and modify products to meet customer needs
- Recommend improved products to customers, showing how changes will lower costs or increase production
- Create technical proposals in coordination with Sales
- Operate as the point of contact in providing technical support and other Technical and Applications Engineering assistance
- Coordinate with internal departments, mostly R&D to resolve problems and provide service
experience A minimum of 3 -5 years of relevant experience in an industrial, manufacturing sales environment
qualifications - Bachelor's degree, Electrical Engineering; Master's is a plus
- Excellent English language skills
- Demonstrated project management skills with ability to organize and prioritize work.
- Effective problem-solving skills. Able to listen to the customer's desires and concerns, and then recommend solutions, possibly including customizing a product.
- Ability to work independently and/or in collaboration with various departments and levels of personnel
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel internationally and domestically whenever required
- Strong interpersonal skills both for building relationships with clients and effectively communicating with other members of the sales team
- A minimum of 3 -5 years of relevant experience in an industrial, manufacturing sales environment preferably in power, energy or construction fields
