I am always willing to take new challenges and anything that is required for my role, there is a great willingness to work and a desire to expand my knowledge and skills. I work responsibly, I can work both independently and as part of a team and I am focused to work to achieve goals set for both my  team and the company.

As you will see from my CV I have gone from wood processing to a leading ship carpenter in Greece where it is essential to first understand how everything is made and how it is processed and I saw various tricks at work where you can see the difference between good and perfect. Then I went on for a short period in a local carpenter on my island and very soon for two years in an architectural office and at the same time I was working with engineers where with a lot of personal effort and dedication and countless hours every day I became the person I am today in my work. I then moved to a well-known playground manufacturing company where I helped in most areas of the company but my main role was designing 2D & 3D models and operating a CNC machine. I get to today where I work in one of the best furniture construction companies in my country that undertakes only large projects and I have taken the position of the designer where I produce 3D models and technical drawings with a cut list with the corresponding materials, dimensions and hardware to order.

Description of the Department’s graduate: the graduate of the Wood and Furniture Design and Technology Department is qualified with the theoretical and applied scientific training, in order to operate as Wood Technologist, Furniture production Technologist and Furniture Designer and more specifically to the following sectors: i) wood products production, ii) furniture and woodworking production, iii) design of prototype furniture and woodworking and implementation of design propositions according to contemporary technologies and market trends, iv) organization and operations management of wood and furniture production and trading units, v) implementation of technical standards of wood, furniture and woodworking production and implementation of quality control norms and standardization systems, vi) furnishing and decoration with wood.
