    As a Content Moderator, you will be instrumental in keeping our online world engaging, appropriate, and safe.
    You will apply a content policy to digital content and execute handling procedures with consistency.

    The best candidates are able to identify subtle differences in the meaning of digital communication and accurately enforce the client's terms of use by carefully monitoring reports of abuse on the site.

    You will actively participate in employee assistance programs, program reporting initiatives and training to foster the well-being of you and the employee community.

    A Bilingual Content Moderator will escalate through appropriate channels any changes that may impact performance or as necessary to maintain required KPIs.

    You will also adhere to security measures, confidentiality, and other project requirements in any way related to your work.

    Roles and responsibilities:

    Working on a computer each day reviewing content such as videos, news stories, still pictures, political ads, and social media profiles.

    Score this content on areas such as age-appropriateness, level of violence, sexual content, and political transparency.

    Meet internal Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Metrics Partner and collaborate with leadership on strategic projects as needed Participate in all Internal and External mandated trainings and/or seminars Get to know, understand, and comply with Task Us policies and procedures Technical skills and qualifications: Computer literate and proficient in the use of Windows OS, Apple OS, Microsoft Office, and Google applications Familiar with customer support software, including Zendesk, Slack, and internal troubleshooting tools to resolve issues Fluent in the Russian language, as well as reading and writing in Russian Fluent in the English language, as well as reading and writing in English Must be at least a high school graduate Soft skills: Problem-solving and critical thinking skills Great communication skills, written and orally Must be adaptable and flexible, demonstrating abilities to work with process and information changes Act as a key participant within the internal team and wider Company by taking part in department initiatives providing feedback/updates, promoting collaborative solutions, and supporting colleagues/departments Coachable - Open to feedback and can show improvement Personality traits required: Resilient, calm, and professional when dealing with challenging situations Adaptable to a dynamically changing business Trustworthy and reliable with a high level of integrity Resourceful, high attention to detail, and the ability to multitask What's in it for you?     Being a Content Moderator means participating in skills groups, counselling sessions, coaching sessions, or other wellness and resiliency programs.
    You will have 24/7 access to our Wellness & Resiliency Team to bolster your mental wellbeing.

    Requirements:

    All employees exposed to graphic content will attend wellness coaching sessions to ensure awareness of wellness resources and to ensure job adjustment.

    All employees exposed to graphic content will attend Resiliency Trainings.

    Creating a Culture of Awareness and Prevention through Psychological Health and Safety: Task Us believes in being transparent with our new employees about their job duties and the possible impact.

    Some of our campaigns include disturbing content.

    Examples of these types of material may include but are not limited to: Child exploitation and abuse Animal torture Gang Violence Murder Hate Speech Pornographic Content As a Content Moderator it is important for you to know the potential risks related to this type of work.

    While Task Us is focused on employee wellness by having counsellors on-site, resiliency programming, and other psychological health and safety programming, exposure to graphic and disturbing content is unavoidable in some job roles.

    Some individuals with a sensitivity to viewing graphic or disturbing content may be at risk for developing distress, mental health symptoms, or, in rare instances, Secondary Traumatic Stress based on the content they are viewing.

    Task Us reserves the right to reassign an employee to other Task Us projects based on staffing needs, employee performance, and other considerations.

    In order to help create a community that is safe for all employees, the Wellness & Resiliency Team takes an active role in the primary prevention of mental health concerns through direct practice efforts, e-learning, skills training, and outreach efforts to the Task Us community.
