Principle and Team Lead Backend Engineer
I'm currently partnering with one of the world's leading
GameTech companies
, operating in 22 countries globally, who are expanding their backend engineering teams.
They are hiring for both:
Principle Engineers
Fully hands-on technical roles focused on building scalable, high-performance backend systems.
Lead Engineers
A hybrid role with a
50% hands-on / 50% people leadership split
. Ideal for senior engineers who have experience leading teams and want to mentor, guide delivery, and remain close to the code.
You'll be joining a modern, tech-first organisation building robust, scalable backend systems that support millions of users worldwide in a performance-driven environment.
Must Have:
- Strong experience with
.NET / C# or Java - Proven experience designing and building scalable backend services
- Solid understanding of clean architecture and API design
Nice to Have:
- Experience building and maintaining
CI/CD pipelines - Exposure to modern DevOps practices and cloud-native environments
