Role and Responsibilities

Simulator Technician Shift Leader

Join CAE's new training centre in Athens as a Simulator Technician Shift Leader, working on the most advanced aircraft simulators in the world. You'll lead a team of Simulator Technicians as we deliver maintenance and modifications for some of the most advanced aircraft simulators in the world.

You'll lead a team carrying out preventative and reactive maintenance on A320, B737, and ATR simulator systems, diagnosing issues and ensure a high level of availability for our customers.

The role we are offering you

• Leading a team of Simulation Technicians performing preventative and corrective maintenance on a range of simulators including A320, B737, and ATR 72-600
• Performing software modifications and subsequent tests, as well as assisting engineering team with design changes and software enhancements
• Ensuring maintenance activities are tracked consistently in our maintenance management system
• Providing oversight on the preparation of simulators for regulatory evaluations
• Supporting our customers directly to identify and resolve issues affecting availability
• Supporting logistics including parts received, repairs, and testing & validation
• Managing the learning and development of other Simulator Technicians and Apprentices

Our ideal candidate has:

• Direct experience with simulators and simulator systems (maintenance, fault finding, defect resolution)
• Experience in team leadership roles
• Degree qualification or equivalent level of training/ qualifications in relevant engineering field

We're looking for you to be an effective leader, able to train, develop, and oversee a group of Technicians. As we're a brand new training centre, we want you to foster an environment of collaboration and learning to help our new Technicians and ensure delivery of maintenance activities for our customers. You'll need to have sound judgement and the ability to make decisions, react quickly, and embed CAE's company culture amongst a new team.
