Nikolaos Tsaloupis

My name is Nikolaos Tsaloupis, 

I have finished my B.Sc. in Economics in 2015 and my M.Sc. in Economic Theory and Policy in 2021, both from University Of Crete,School Of Social Sciences, Department of Economics in Greece. During my undergraduate period I experienced an interest in the economic theory that lead me to pursue further knowledge in this field of studies. As a result, I applied to the M.Sc. in Economic Theory and Policy of the University of Crete, that I completed with merit. My Master Thesis was in ”Multivariate Quantile Impulse Response Functions Applied In Macroeconomic Data”. During my Master studies I worked as a Professor of Economics in a higher education private coaching school for undergraduate students of Economics and in an education private coaching school for students.

I always strive to become a better version of myself everyday in order to provide my assistance when needed and learn new things as I seek to further enhance my existing knowledge with new and diverse experiences.Over the years I found out that my passion was teaching more than working as a Bank Officer. So, I dedicated my time to further develop my teaching and coaching abilities though various educational seminars and programs while I was working at the same time. In our modern ever-changing environment we have to adapt to every situation and respond to every new challenge with efficiency, in order to demonstrate a good example for the younger generations to follow. As a result I strive to achieve equal treatment to each and every student that I have under my supervision.

One of my long term goals is to attend and bring to completion a PhD program in economics and to further research modern economic topics, as a postdoctoral researcher that have or will have great impact in our society as a whole.

Over the years I have met many people through my work both as a teacher and as a financial officer that helped me hone my overall skill set and make me a greater person.I attained strong time-management and organizational skills and the ability to prioritise work under pressure. High standards of accuracy, quality and attention to detail in written and oral communication. Sound interpersonal, networking and team working skills and excellent Microsoft Office Skills.Furthermore, my in depth profile in economics, my accumulated experience of teaching and the interaction with a vast variety of different and unique characters everyday give me the advantage of quick assessing a situation and taking the initiative towards the best path that can solve the problem at hand or give the best possible advice, always depending on the circumstances at any given time. 

I have a working experience as an Economics Teacher for undergraduate students, with the following teaching subjects: 

1. macroeconomics,

2. microeconomics and

3. econometrics.

• With the audience to be young adults in their first years and adults in their final years of their Bachelor in Economics in the University of Crete, that were in need of supplementary lessons in order to pass their exams.

I have also  a working experience as an Economics Teacher, for students, with the following teaching subjects :

1. Principles of Economic Theory

2. Mathematics (for Positive Studies / Economics & Informatics)

• With the audience to be young students in their final years of attendance in high school, that wanted to be prepared for their national exams in order to enrol themselves in a higher education institute of their like.

Last but not least I have worked as an English Language Teacher, as a Professor of Economics for cooking and pastry chefs, as a Probationary Reserve Officer with Assistant Accountant duties and as a Financial Officer in Public Finance Service of Rhodes.
